Antioxidants in Dark Chocolates may reduce the risk of many kinds of illnesses from heart disease to cancer. Dark chocolates and cocoa are high in flavonoids which help protect the heart by deactivating unstable molecules in the blood called free radicles. Free radicals can aggravate bad cholesterol in blood and lead to clogged arteries. To gain the health benefits all that is needed is one square a day.
